Once you fill out our puppy form we will get in contact and we will discuss what you are looking for in a puppy and make sure we are the breeder for you! We will also ask that you visit our puppy application page and fill out some information about yourself and the home our puppy will be living in!
Next step?
We are a show breeder and we pride ourselves in working hard to preserve and better the Saint Bernard breed. The process on picking puppies is based off of our evaluations at 8 weeks. We work with our Co breeders; Jena and Matthew Smith at Covered Bridge Saint Bernards to evaluate our litters. We evaluate each puppy's conformation, temperament and personality. We place show puppies first based on conformation and which puppies we want to continue our breeding program with. Next, we place our pet puppies into the very best homes! Puppy picks are based off of order of deposits on our waiting list.
Process
Our puppies are all sold on contracts. Our contracts require a return policy. If for any reason at any time you are unable to keep one of our Loyal Ridge puppies, they are to be returned to us. These dogs are family and we dedicate so much of our lives to them. We are responsible for our puppies for the duration of their lives in the unfortunate event their family is unable to keep them. They always have a home here, and we have a zero tolerance for any of our dogs ever ending up in a shelter.
Next, is that unless otherwise discussed (for example a show puppy that goes to a home on a co own with us) we require a spay/neuter contract once they are fully grown. This is to ensure to avoid any unwanted breeding’s for dogs that are sold as pet homes only. As well for the health of your dog.
